MAP — ifold Absolute Pressure sensor

A piezo sensor that measures absolute pressure in the intake manifold (typically 0-3 bar absolute for turbo applications). The ECU uses MAP to determine boost level and load.

MAP is the primary boost feedback signal on turbo engines. After turbo upgrade, the MAP table needs to be extended to read higher pressures (typical OEM MAP saturates at 2.0 bar = ~14 psi gauge).
