What P1504 means on a Saturn

On Saturn vehicles, P1504 is logged when the ECU detects a fault in the powertrain: “Vehicle Speed Output Circuit”. P1504 is a manufacturer-specific Saturn code (the "1" after the letter marks an OEM-defined code), so its meaning applies to Saturn and may differ on other makes.
