What P1503 means on a Saturn

On Saturn vehicles, P1503 is logged when the ECU detects a fault in the powertrain: “Theft Deterrent System Password Incorrect”. P1503 is a manufacturer-specific Saturn code (the "1" after the letter marks an OEM-defined code), so its meaning applies to Saturn and may differ on other makes.
