Fuel Pump Relay
On Jaguar vehicles, P1230 is logged when the ECU detects a fault in the fuel system: “Fuel Pump Relay”. P1230 is a manufacturer-specific Jaguar code (the "1" after the letter marks an OEM-defined code), so its meaning applies to Jaguar and may differ on other makes.
