Workshop workflow
- Read via AutoTuner — typically OBD-mode UDS, falling back to bench mode where the variant requires it.
- Open in Softechpro V5. Variant auto-detection works for MD1CS006, MG1CS024, MG1CS017 and the other AutoTuner-supported families.
- Pick service tab; save patched .bin.
- Flash via AutoTuner. Adaptation reset on OEM scan tool.
Notes
AutoTuner is hardware-first; the file work happens in a separate calibration tool — Softechpro V5 is that tool.
