What P1280 means on a Chrysler

On Chrysler vehicles, P1280 is logged when the ECU detects a fault in the throttle: “Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 2 Circuit”. P1280 is a manufacturer-specific Chrysler code (the "1" after the letter marks an OEM-defined code), so its meaning applies to Chrysler and may differ on other makes.
