ECM Loop Overrun
On Chevrolet vehicles, P1690 is logged when the ECU detects a fault in the powertrain: “ECM Loop Overrun”. P1690 is a manufacturer-specific Chevrolet code (the "1" after the letter marks an OEM-defined code), so its meaning applies to Chevrolet and may differ on other makes.
