MIL Control Circuit
On Chevrolet vehicles, P1661 is logged when the ECU detects a fault in the powertrain: “MIL Control Circuit”. P1661 is a manufacturer-specific Chevrolet code (the "1" after the letter marks an OEM-defined code), so its meaning applies to Chevrolet and may differ on other makes.
