P/N Signal Output Circuit
On Cadillac vehicles, P1705 is logged when the ECU detects a fault in the powertrain: “P/N Signal Output Circuit”. P1705 is a manufacturer-specific Cadillac code (the "1" after the letter marks an OEM-defined code), so its meaning applies to Cadillac and may differ on other makes.
