SCT LiveLink (LiveLink Gen II) is the datalogging application in the SCT ecosystem. Connected through an SCT device such as the X4 or BDX, it records live PIDs and sensor data from the vehicle, then graphs, overlays, and analyzes the logs so tuners can validate and refine a calibration built in SCT Advantage. It supports OEM parameters plus external inputs, for example wideband air/fuel and EGT via analog inputs on supported devices, and lets users create custom gauge layouts and dashboards. LiveLink is used by both tuners and enthusiasts to monitor knock, fuel trims, boost, and air/fuel while road-testing Ford and GM vehicles. Logs are commonly emailed to a remote tuner for tune revisions in the SCT custom-tuning workflow.
MoTeC i2 Standard is the free, widely used tier of MoTeC's i2 data-analysis software for viewing and analyzing logs from MoTeC ECUs, loggers and dashes. It provides the core toolset, including time and distance graphs, channel overlays, basic math channels, track maps and worksheet layouts, to help tuners and drivers interpret engine and vehicle data after a session. While it omits some of the advanced expressions and analysis features of i2 Pro, i2 Standard covers the everyday needs of many club and semi-pro users reviewing fuel, ignition, temperature, boost and lap data. It shares the same log-file compatibility and interface foundation as i2 Pro within the MoTeC ecosystem, giving users a clear upgrade path as their analysis needs grow.
