AEMpro is AEM Electronics' Windows data-analysis application, used to review and analyze logs recorded by AEM data loggers and dashes such as the AQ-1 logger and CD-series digital dashes. It lets users plot channels, overlay laps, build math channels, create custom charts and gauges, and correlate engine and vehicle data to support tuning and vehicle-setup decisions. Rather than writing calibrations, AEMpro focuses on turning recorded CAN and analog data into actionable insight, helping spot knock, lean spots, boost fluctuations, temperature trends and driver inputs across a run. It is commonly used alongside AEM's ECUs, wideband controllers and sensors to close the loop between logging hardware and tuning changes made in the ECU software, giving tuners an evidence-based view of each session.
MoDaS (Motorsport Data Analysis Software) is Bosch Motorsport's platform for analysing large volumes of measurement data. It targets high-end teams that record thousands of channels from Bosch motorsport ECUs, loggers and sensors, and need to process, filter and compare massive datasets efficiently. MoDaS emphasises fast handling of big data files, scripting and automated evaluation, letting engineers build repeatable analysis routines across many sessions and cars. It complements WinDarab in the Bosch toolchain, with MoDaS oriented toward heavy-duty, high-channel-count processing and batch evaluation. Used in professional circuit and endurance racing, it reads logged data for engineering analysis and does not modify ECU calibration, which stays in the RaceCon configuration environment.
AEMpro (Data Logging & Analysis, AEM Electronics) and Bosch Motorsport Modas (Data Logging & Analysis, Bosch Motorsport) compete in the same space, so the choice comes down to coverage, workflow and price for your specific ECUs.
