Roewe chip tuning with Softechpro V5
Softechpro V5 supports the full range of Roewe engine ECUs — diesel and petrol, OBD-flashable and bench-mode — covering DTC OFF, EGR OFF, DPF OFF, AdBlue OFF, Catalyst OFF, and Stage 1 / 2 / 3 tuning. Off-road and motorsport use only.

Softechpro identifies the firmware revision automatically when you drop the Roewe .bin / .ori / .hex / .s19 / .frf onto the workspace. Bench-mode files (MG1 / MD1 / MEDC17) are decrypted in place.
Services available for Roewe
Each service patches the calibration directly in the bin file. The Softechpro patcher then recomputes the Roewe-specific checksum (Bosch CRC for EDC15/16/17, Delphi sum, Siemens hash) so the file flashes back without integrity failure.
How to tune a Roewe ECU with Softechpro V5
- Read out the Roewe ECU via OBD or bench (KESS3, AutoTuner, MPPS, Trasdata, Flex, FRF flasher).
- Open Softechpro V5 and drop the .bin onto the workspace. Softechpro auto-identifies the Roewe ECU family from the header / signature.
- Pick the service you need — DPF OFF, EGR OFF, AdBlue OFF, Stage 1-3, etc.
- Hit Save patched .bin. The checksum is recomputed automatically.
- Flash the patched file back via your existing flasher. Roewe adaptation reset may be needed via the OEM scan tool.
